getting started
Do I need a consultation?
A phone consultation is always available if you'd like to discuss which service is right for you, but it's not required to book an appointment. Many first-time clients start with a single session to experience a treatment or choose our Signature Wellness Package to try everything Body Reset Montecito offers. We're happy to answer questions and help you choose the best starting point for your goals.
What should I wear?
We provide everything you need! For EMS training, you'll have your own labeled suit and access card ready for each visit. For lymphatic drainage, deep tissue, and stretch therapy, wear something comfortable to change in and out of. For red light sessions, minimal clothing is recommended for maximum light exposure. There's no need to bring workout clothes, towels, or equipment—we've got you covered.
Is EMS safe for beginners?
Absolutely! EMS training is suitable for all fitness levels, from complete beginners to elite athletes. Your trainer will start at a comfortable intensity level during your first session and gradually increase as your body adapts. The low-impact nature makes it especially accessible for those new to exercise or anyone with joint concerns. Our trainers are certified in EMS protocols and will guide you through every step.
booking & logistics
Can I do multiple treatments in one visit?
Yes! Our space is designed so all treatments complement each other. Many clients combine services in a single visit—for example, EMS training followed by red light therapy for recovery, or lymphatic drainage paired with a red light session. Just let us know when booking and we'll schedule your appointments back-to-back.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24+ hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. With 24+ hours' notice, there's no charge and any deposit is refunded. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service price. No-shows are charged the full-service price. We understand life happens—just give us a head up as soon as you can.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We operate by appointment only to ensure you receive dedicated attention and your preferred time slot. Please book your session in advance through our online booking system. This also helps us maintain the private, personalized experience Body Reset Montecito is known for.
Is parking available?
We're located at 1225 Coast Village Rd, Unit K in Montecito's Olive Mill Plaza. There are two free parking lots in the plaza with plenty of spaces—no assigned parking needed. Our studio is easily accessible and designed for a smooth, in-and-out experience.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash for in-person payments.
EMS training
How does EMS training compare to a regular workout?
EMS activates up to 90% of your muscle fibers simultaneously—far more than conventional exercise, which typically engages less than 30%. A single 20-minute EMS session delivers benefits comparable to hours of traditional strength training. Research from the Mayo Clinic demonstrated that weekly EMS training produced significantly greater improvements in cardiovascular and metabolic health markers compared to conventional training alone. Many clients notice changes in strength and muscle tone within the first few weeks of consistent training.
Will EMS hurt?
EMS creates a unique tingling or pulsing sensation as the electrical impulses activate your muscles. It's not painful, though it does feel intense—especially during your first few sessions. Most clients describe it as invigorating once they adjust to the sensation. Your trainer controls the intensity and will work with you to find the right level. Many clients find that after adapting to EMS, traditional workouts feel less challenging by comparison.
How often should I do EMS training?
For optimal results, we recommend starting with once per week for the first 4 weeks to let your body adapt. After that, training every 3-4 days (twice per week) is ideal for continued strength building and body composition changes. It's important to allow at least 48-72 hours between sessions for proper muscle recovery—EMS is a complete, high-intensity full-body workout despite the short duration.

Are there any health conditions that prevent me from using your services?
Yes, certain conditions require physician clearance or may be contraindications for specific treatments. These include pregnancy, pacemakers or implanted devices, epilepsy, active cancer treatment, recent surgery (within 3-6 months), blood clot history, and uncontrolled high/low blood pressure. Conditions like diabetes, circulatory issues, or autoimmune disorders may require doctor approval before treatment. We'll review a complete health questionnaire before your first session to ensure all treatments are safe for you.
Can I use Body Reset services if I'm pregnant or postpartum?
EMS training and red light therapy is not recommended during pregnancy. However, our lymphatic drainage specialists are trained in prenatal lymphatic massage for expecting mothers. After delivery, lymphatic drainage can typically resume the next day following a natural birth, or 2+ weeks after a C-section with physician clearance. Please consult with your healthcare provider and our team to determine the right timeline for your postpartum wellness journey.
results & expectations
How soon will I see results?
Many clients feel and see changes after just one session—particularly with lymphatic drainage, where reduced bloating and puffiness are often immediately noticeable. For EMS training, most clients report feeling stronger and noticing improved muscle tone within 3-4 weeks of consistent sessions. Body composition changes typically become more pronounced after 6-8 weeks of regular training. Consistency is key—following a regular schedule and supporting your body with healthy habits between visits will help you see the biggest difference.
Will I feel soreness or discomfort after my session?
Some soreness after EMS training or deep tissue massage is completely normal, especially during your first few sessions. This typically subsides within 24-48 hours. After EMS, soreness tends to decrease as your body adapts to the training stimulus. After lymphatic drainage, some clients experience mild redness or tingling, which is normal and fades quickly. If you experience unusual or persistent discomfort, please reach out—we're here to ensure every treatment feels beneficial.
memberships & packages
Should I buy a package/membership or a single session?
It depends on your goals! Single sessions are perfect for trying a treatment or maintaining occasional wellness. If you're seeking measurable, lasting results, packages and memberships offer the best value and ensure consistency. Our Signature Wellness Package ($2,200) lets you experience all our services over 3 months—ideal for discovering what works for your body. Memberships provide ongoing support with the best per-session pricing, unlimited red light access, and discounts on massage services. We're happy to discuss which option aligns with your goals and lifestyle.
Can I share my package or membership with someone else?
No, all sessions, packages, and memberships are non-transferable and assigned to the individual purchaser only.
Do my package sessions or membership sessions expire?
Package sessions should be used within the stated timeframe (3 months for Signature Wellness Package, 6 weeks for EMS series). Membership sessions renew monthly and unused sessions do not roll over to the next month. We recommend scheduling regularly to maximize your investment and maintain consistency for best results.
